Medications are used to manage and treat depression, bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders, attention deficit disorder (ADD/ADHD) and many other mental illnesses. You will learn about your mental health more in-depth during counseling sessions. With medication treatment, you will learn how the drug works and about frequent and potentially serious side effects.
Self worth, self awareness, accuracy of beliefs, self care, stress management, and problem solving are some of the areas addressed in psychotherapy. The goal of psychotherapy is to help you deal better with life stresses. The combination of medication and psychotherapy enhance emotional well being and resiliency to stress.
Your treatment is in a comfortable and quiet setting. Visits are by appointment only and range from a one hour evaluation to a minimum of a 20 minute follow up visit. Visits are priced to be affordable and competitive in the psychiatric community. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, debit and credit cards, and checks. We will provide you with a superbill to send to your insurance company for reimbursement.
